A cruise to Alaska can be the best memorable, romantic and amazing adventure. There are Alaska cruise and tours companies who offer all kinds of great packages. In addition you will find cruises to Alaska offered by the major cruise lines like Princess, Carnival and Norwegian. Most of the time the cruises to Alaska are longer in duration than some of the ones to the Caribbean. Also a cruise to Alaska is far removed from the tropical luxury of other locations.
Does that mean a cruise to Alaska can't be luxurious? Not at all -- as a matter of fact most cruise ships are very luxurious and are like floating resorts. You can hike, bike or boat through some of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. On these tours you might get to see moose, wolves, caribou and the majestic bald eagle. Alaska is also home to all kinds of beautiful flora and fauna. Denali National Park alone has more than 600 species of plant life.

You might even want to contact the cruise and tour companies and request literature. The more planning you do beforehand, the better your vacation will be. By researching your destination and putting together your itinerary in advance you can save time and even money. Alaska is a beautiful location, and once you visit you will probably want to return again and again.
